Grand Theft Auto VI Gameplay Garners Over 31 Million Views on Netflix

Netflix has revealed its video viewership results for the week ending August 30, and the 27-minute Grand Theft Auto 6 Extended Look video confidently took the top spot. The presentation of Rockstar's new project garnered 31.1 million views, becoming the most popular video on the platform during that period.

The gameplay video also topped Netflix's English-language film rankings in 87 out of 93 tracked countries. In comparison, the second-place film "Whispers Through the Window" received 23.2 million views. In the non-English film category, the Mexican crime thriller Facing El Chapo took first place with 20.7 million views.

On YouTube, the Grand Theft Auto VI gameplay presentation accumulated over 18 million views.

Grand Theft Auto VI is scheduled for release on November 19.
