Logan thought he was done being Wolverine, but the past wouldn't leave him alone. Three years after leaving Team X, he returns to this special mutant group when it falls on particularly hard times. Bolivar Trask, driven by a fanatical belief in human supremacy, kidnaps mutants. Only Wolverine can save them. In this battle for the future, Logan must unite with mutants from around the world in countries such as Canada, Japan, and the fictional Marvel island nation of Madripoor. The fate of humans and mutants hangs in the balance. The world needs a hero, but it will have to settle for Wolverine.
