Wrestler and actor Cody Rhodes sparked rumors about his possible involvement in the new "X-Men" movie. He recently spoke about visiting Marvel Studios headquarters and then posted a video on his personal account featuring the theme song from the "X-Men '97" animated series.
This was enough for fans to start discussing Rhodes' possible appearance in the reboot, especially given that Marvel has only revealed part of the cast so far.
However, the hints may not be related to the film at all. For example, Rhodes might get a role in one of the future seasons of "X-Men '97" or simply expressed his love for the franchise in this way.
The wrestler has long been fascinated by mutant comics and even brought this passion into the ring: over the years, his costumes were inspired by Mister Sinister and Archangel, and his current gear includes elements of Cyclops's image, whom Rhodes called his favorite X-Men character.
The "X-Men" reboot will be directed by "Thunderbolts" director Jake Schreier. The premiere is scheduled for May 5, 2028.
