Shark RPG gets a sequel - Maneater 2 trailer unveiled
The shark will face mutated sea creatures.
Tripwire Interactive and Demiurge Studios recently unveiled Maneater 2. This is a new role-playing game about the adventures of a shark. The first part was released more than five years ago and received “very positive” reviews from players on Steam.
In Maneater 2, players will once again be invited to explore the world and develop their shark. This time, events will unfold at a private preview event for the “Neptune's Realm” amusement park. The shark will have to escape from a “fortress of scientific abuse and corporate greed, leaving a fiery blood trail behind.”
The developers mentioned that there will be “genetic modifications” that will pose a threat to the shark:
The marine research and conservation efforts of the Neptune's Realm administration not only provide corporations with a chance to avoid taxes, but are also good for many other things. What if humanity provided the ecosystem with genetically modified tools for self-defense? The park's arsenal already includes five different genetic modifications, and its leading bioengineers in the industry push the ethical boundaries of science every day.
You can add Maneater 2 to your Steam wishlist via this link. The game does not yet have a specific release date, but a release window has been set for 2027. The sequel will be available not only on PC but also on consoles.
