Netflix unveiled the first still from the third and final season of "Avatar: The Last Airbender." The image shows Fire Lord Ozai, played by Daniel Dae Kim. New episodes will be released in 2027, but the service has not yet announced the exact date.
In the final season, Aang and his friends will journey deep into the Fire Nation. The heroes must stop Ozai before the arrival of Sozin's Comet, which greatly amplifies the abilities of firebenders.
Joining the cast are John John Briones as Piandao, Tantoo Cardinal as Hama, Terry Chen as Jeong Jeong, and Lily Gao as Ursa. Dichen Lachman will play the previous Avatar Yangchen.
