CD Projekt RED has started working on a new game - it's not The Witcher or Cyberpunk

CD Projekt RED has begun pre-production on its mysterious game Hadar - it will be a completely new universe, unrelated to The Witcher and Cyberpunk.

At the latest financial conference, CD Projekt RED announced progress on Project Hadar. More than 30 specialists are currently working on the new universe, and by the end of the year, the studio plans to increase the team by another 50 people.

However, development is still in its early stages. The creators are testing different design approaches, exploring story ideas, and creating prototypes of key gameplay elements. The project is still far from full production.

For comparison, almost 500 people are already working on the new Witcher game. Hadar will be CD Projekt RED's first completely original universe, created from scratch.
