In Escape from Tarkov, not only "Lighthouse" but also the Keeper's quests will be reworked - developers talked about the changes
It is expected that tasks will now test the player's skills.
The developers of Escape from Tarkov continue to talk about the novelties of the upcoming update 1.1.5.0. The changes will affect not only the "Lighthouse" location but also its inhabitant — the Keeper.
In this update, the quest chain to access the Keeper will be completely reworked:
We know that the old requirements for starting this chain felt like a set of loosely connected tasks — both in terms of gameplay and story. The chain itself required finding an excessive number of rare items to complete. The upcoming changes will alter this situation, making access to the Keeper a more coherent and intuitive process.

To get the first quest in the chain to access the Keeper, players will need to:
- Unlock access to the Lighthouse location as part of the "Tour" story;
- Reach loyalty level 3 with all traders (except the Flea Market and Fence);
- Ask Mechanic about the possibility of cooperation with the Keeper. This can be done after unlocking access to the Lighthouse location.
The developers explained that the requirements for gaining access to the Keeper will be completely reworked. According to them, they will be "more focused on testing the player's skills" rather than repetitive and monotonous tasks. The Keeper's quests themselves will also be changed.
With the September update 1.1.5.0, Escape from Tarkov will introduce not only the rework of "Lighthouse" and the Keeper but also a new competitive League system — players will compete based on the amount of experience gained. However, it will not be easy to farm "Icebreaker": the developers have anticipated this strategy and prepared a nerf.
