A new campaign for Warcraft III has been released, continuing the story of The Frozen Throne - a modder has prepared the story of Sylvanas Windrunner

Players can expect a new story and various quests.

Recently, a modder under the nickname tomoraider presented a new trailer for the project "Curse of the Forsaken Classic". This is a fan-made campaign for Warcraft III, which continues the story after the finale of The Frozen Throne expansion.

tomoraider invites players to lead the Forsaken and guide them through a "reimagined version of World of Warcraft: Wrath of the Lich King and achieve the revenge the Banshee Queen demands. This is the true story of Sylvanas Windrunner – the one this iconic character truly deserves."

Among the key changes in "Classic", modder tomoraider highlighted:

• New side quests with dozens of unique rewards
• Updated and reworked chapters. For example, half of the Northrend campaign has been almost completely redone.
• The plot connecting the story of Curse of the Forsaken with the established lore of World of Warcraft has been rewritten.
• Factions have been expanded and reworked.
• The AI player system has been reworked: it should ensure more stable behavior of AI-controlled opponents.

tomoraider has already published the mod "Curse of the Forsaken Classic [v4.0]" for Warcraft III in open access.
