Psychonauts Creators Will Make Players Beat Up Bus Passengers - Thank You Bus Driver Announced

Double Fine Productions, the creators of Psychonauts, have announced Thank You Bus Driver - a chaotic city bus simulator.

Double Fine Productions has unveiled its first game since going independent. In Thank You Bus Driver, players will transport passengers against the clock, adhere to changing rules, and, if necessary, beat up rule-breakers.

The studio, known for Psychonauts, Keeper, and Brutal Legend, is currently developing the game only for PC. It will be released on Steam, GOG, Humble Store, and itch.io. The release date is unknown.

Thank You Bus Driver is described as a chaotic story about the life of a city bus driver. Rules will change daily, and the base will add new restrictions. Particularly unruly passengers will be allowed to be dealt with using fists or thrown out the back door.

The main goal is to reach the next stop on time. To do this, you can even cut through a cornfield, without worrying too much about pedestrians, cars, and fences.

For successful trips, passengers will leave "Thanks" that increase the time limit, unlocking new bus elements, city options, and other bonuses.
