Mewgenics received an official Russian translation - DLC and console release are in the works

News

A free content update will also be available.

In early September, the creators of Mewgenics introduced an update with official Russian localization. For several weeks, the translation was available as a "beta build" that Steam users could access.

The developers have also prepared several other localizations and continue to collect feedback:

Hello! Mewgenics is now available in Japanese, Korean, Russian, and Simplified Chinese. Thank you to everyone who provided feedback during the beta testing. If you have any comments about these translations, please continue to send them in.

The creators of Mewgenics also reminded players that the game will be released on consoles on September 8, and players will have the option to transfer their cloud saves to Sony, Nintendo, and Microsoft platforms:

All console versions are playable with standard controls, but all three platforms also support keyboard and mouse input, as well as Joy-Con 2 mouse and touchscreen on Nintendo Switch 2 and DualSense touchpad on PS5.

Currently, the developers are preparing a free update for Mewgenics, which will add a "new way to play" and items to the game — details will be shared by the end of 2026, and work on the first expansion is also underway.
