38 years later, a remake of the classic action-RPG will be released on Steam - a couple of developers were surprised that the game became cult-classic

While we were making our first game, I met [the one who later became] my wife, and… well, we got married, now she is my wife. We fell in love and wanted to make our own game together, so we discussed its concept for a long time. I like Greek myths and legends, so we decided to use them as the basis for our game. And given these [romantic] circumstances, when we discussed the game, our mood influenced it.

For INFINITY, founded by Horimoto, [The Battle Of Olympus] is the very first original project. And thanks to this game, we got married. After that, our small studio INFINITY remained in the shadows, helping in the development of more than 80 games. This year, INFINITY celebrates its 40th anniversary. In honor of this important milestone, we decided to revive The Battle of Olympus with our own hands — the game that started it all for us. This final project will be the culmination of our careers in game development. We were inspired to make this remake by YouTube videos. Despite the game being many years old, people still upload playthroughs, and these videos gather many views. I was truly amazed. And your comments moved me to tears.
