This is what The Last of Us Part II multiplayer could have been like - PvP action game Terminal War gameplay shown on PC

News

The game's resemblance to TLOU is no coincidence.

Recently, Albatross Interactive studio once again reminded about the Terminal War project. A trailer with a selection of gameplay footage appeared online.

This time, the developers offered players a look at a playtest of "1 on 1" battles. Players will be able to climb various objects, such as containers, as well as participate in firefights and engage in close combat.

Although the developers showed "duels," Terminal War is still a third-person team shooter. According to the plot, events unfold in post-war America in 1999. Seven years after World War III, the country is "in a state of nuclear confrontation with itself," and three factions are fighting for power.

Terminal War - Official Playtest Gameplay Trailer

For those familiar with The Last of Us franchise, the gameplay footage may remind them of Naughty Dog's project, and this is no coincidence – earlier this year it became known that specialists who worked on the canceled multiplayer of The Last of Us Part II are working on the project.

You can add Terminal War to your Steam wishlist by following this link. The developers have not yet announced a specific release date for the project, and it does not have a release window either.
