A popular character will return in The Witcher 4 - the actor confirmed recording Dandelion's lines
First, the character will appear in an expansion for The Witcher 3.
CD Projekt RED is not rushing to reveal all the details of The Witcher 4's story, but players are gradually getting information from other sources. For example, recently, the attention of "The Witcher" fans was drawn by a Polish actor who voices one of the franchise's characters.
Jacek Kopczyński, who plays Dandelion, participated in the PSX Extreme Party 2026 event in Warsaw, which took place this month. During a conversation with a Polish journalist, the actor revealed that he had already recorded several lines for Dandelion in The Witcher 4.
At the moment, it is unclear whether this statement was agreed upon with CD Projekt RED, or if the actor accidentally revealed Dandelion's appearance in The Witcher 4. Jacek also did not say how significant his character's role would be in the new installment of the franchise.
There is another point: Jacek Kopczyński has not yet recorded lines for the upcoming expansion Songs of the Past for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. It is noteworthy that Doug Cockle and John Schwab recorded Geralt's and Dandelion's lines in English.
The release of the Songs of the Past expansion is expected in 2027, and The Witcher 4 is planned for release in 2028.
