Mario Kart World to Get Star Fox Characters - Insider Reveals DLC

An insider claims that Mario Kart World will receive DLC featuring Star Fox characters, and also hints at a new game in the series.

When Mario Kart World was released last summer, players noticed that the game seemed designed for DLC: some characters had few costumes, the open world turned out to be quite empty, and there was a lot of free space left on the map. Also, several racers from Mario Kart 8 Deluxe were missing from the game.

Almost a year and a half has passed, but Nintendo has not yet announced any add-ons. Now, insider Malo932 claims that DLC is indeed being developed. According to him, guests from Star Fox will appear in the game, specifically Fox McCloud and, possibly, his friends. However, Link and Isabelle, who are present in Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, will not be included in the add-on.

The insider also hinted at a new Star Fox game. For now, this is just a rumor, so the information should be treated with caution.
