Arc Raiders developers updated the engine, introduced a new project, and warned about the removal of one of the currencies

Arc Raiders developers have released update 1.45.0. It includes content, various bug fixes, and improvements.

Embark Studios is preparing for the release of the big Frozen Trail update in October, and for now, offers players to complete the new project Ascending the Mountain. By collecting resources, players can receive various in-game rewards — weapons and equipment, and a cosmetic item will be given for the final stage.

The release of the Frozen Trail update is scheduled for October 8, and the developers warned that they will rework the deck system (the local battle pass) and abandon the “credits” currency (blue Cred) — so they urged players to spend it before the update's release.

All existing rewards from the “decks” will be available in the new system, and those who managed to unlock content will keep it.

New rubber duck models were also presented — the works of gekko.rar, im_AshCheeks, and nassguhl won the competition.

The developers reported that they updated the Arc Raiders engine — it now uses Unreal Engine 5.7, and bugs that could lead to game crashes were also fixed.
