The "Bombora" publishing house announced that the book "Player Hunt. Marketing Fundamentals for Developers," which tells how to prevent a good game from getting lost among many new releases, has gone to layout.

It's no secret that tens of thousands of games are released every year. And among them, there are many quality projects that failed simply because they didn't find their gamers. Although, if you look closely, more often it's the player who didn't find them.

Authors Vyacheslav Utochkin and Valeria Zenovina have compiled a practical guide on how to make a game visible to the right audience: plan promotion in advance and integrate marketing directly into the development process, rather than tacking it on at the last minute before release.

Vyacheslav Utochkin is one of the creators of the book "I Want to Get into Gamedev! Fundamentals of Game Development for Beginners," head of the game project management program at HSE, and a producer with 15 years of experience, while Valeria Zenovina is his graduate and partner on a number of projects, a journalist, artist, and indie developer.

The book is written specifically for indie studios and small teams without inflated budgets. For those enthusiasts who write code themselves, draw assets, balance gameplay, and simultaneously think about how to attract an audience to their creation.
