Capcom earned over $617 million on Steam in 2026 - almost half came from older games
The Resident Evil series feeds all of Capcom.
According to Alinea Analytics, Capcom's game sales on Steam have already generated over $617 million in gross revenue.
The main source of income was the Resident Evil series — it accounts for about 61.6% of Capcom's total revenue on Steam. Moreover, Resident Evil Requiem alone brought in over $200 million, which is approximately 32.6% of the company's total result.
A significant portion of the money continues to come from games of previous years: projects released before 2026 account for about 49.1% of revenue.
Another 9.8% comes from Pragmata — approximately $60.5 million. And this is before accounting for the fresh success of Onimusha: Way of the Sword, which sold over a million copies on its first day after release.
