Activision has decided to support Microsoft's initiative to attract additional attention to Xbox with an unusual bonus for Call of Duty players. Ahead of the release of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4, the company unveiled the Inner Circuit weapon blueprint for the M4, featuring a unique version visually available only on Xbox.
The Inner Circuit blueprint is received by all players who pre-order Modern Warfare 4, regardless of the chosen platform. However, on Xbox, the M4's appearance will be altered: the weapon will feature a design in the style of the original Xbox console with translucent green plastic. The magazine will also display the Xbox logo and the inscription "Xbox 25" in honor of the brand's 25th anniversary.
The unique appearance cannot actually be seen on PC, PS5, and Switch 2 — on other platforms, the rifle will be gray.
