God of War Creator Calls for PlayStation Studios Head to Be Fired

The creator of the first two God of War and Twisted Metal games believes that Hulst is responsible for PlayStation's unsuccessful decisions in recent years. According to Jaffe, projects should have been stopped in their early stages through playtesting.

Why did it take so many people and resources to realize that Hunters Gathering was a bad idea? I'm furious that they spent so much money. These projects could have been stopped earlier through playtesting. You could have saved so much money if you had just published an early test online. In just one week, you would have understood if such a game made sense. Why doesn't he [Hermen Hulst] understand this?
(...) This guy just doesn't understand games. He probably doesn't play at all. And it infuriates me because it's not hard to see that these projects had no chance.
(...) Hermen should be fired, and it probably will happen. But who should replace him? Shuhei Yoshida should be on the list of candidates. It should be someone who breathes and lives games.
Does Playstation CEO KNOW WHAT HE IS DOING!?!? Like...at all?!?

Jaffe also criticized Hulst for decisions surrounding Wolverine, stating that the characters in the game look so bad that they should deter players from buying the PlayStation exclusive.
