The Witcher 3 will shine anew: NVIDIA confirms DLSS 4.5 support
The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt Remastered will be released on September 29, 2029, with full path tracing, DLSS 4.5 Ray Reconstruction, updated DLSS Super Resolution, and improved frame generation.
The collaboration between CD Projekt RED and NVIDIA began back in 2015 and continued with the 2022 update. Now, the remaster will go further: path tracing will improve character hair, evolving NVIDIA HairWorks ideas, and DLSS Super Resolution 4.5 will enhance detail and image quality. Frame Generation will become faster and reduce latency.
GeForce RTX 50 owners will get Dynamic Multi Frame Generation, a technology that will increase the number of generated frames up to six times. NVIDIA Reflex support and ray-traced effects are also announced.
The remaster will not be limited to graphics. The free update will add a redesigned skill system, new animations, improved combat, cross-platform mod support, deeper meditation, and an expanded photo mode.
