Loot and marked room on "Lighthouse" to be improved in Escape from Tarkov - Sergey Domontovich talks about changes
Developers are studying player feedback on the new map version.
In early September, the creators of Escape from Tarkov released a major update 1.1.5.0. Battlestate Games redesigned the "Lighthouse" map, added a BTR to it, and revised the placement of some objects.
Sergey Domontovich, the studio's design manager, addressed fans on social media and spoke about the changes that will be made to the marked room on "Lighthouse":
At the release of the update, there were problems with loot [in the new marked room]. This problem has now been fixed, but we still plan to make changes to the marked room – it will receive a buff. As you may have noticed, this marked room is thematically different from the others: it is more strongly connected to the cultist lore. There are fewer valuable items and more weapons, ammunition, and modifications, and sometimes weapon cases appear. However, the list of weapon models that can currently appear there is not as good as we would like. We will improve it.
Domontovich also commented on the loot on "Lighthouse" in general: "Both the loot itself and the order of its distribution will change in the coming days. Your feedback is really helpful, so don't hesitate to leave it."
Another patch is expected to be released this month, which will launch the League system in Escape from Tarkov.
