A racing game about "rusty buckets" has been released on Steam - players need to restore old cars

News

In BeaterCore, players will drive not sports cars, but simpler car models.

In early September, developer Artem Arbatsky announced the release of BeaterCore on PC via Steam. The project is positioned as an arcade racing game, but with a twist.

The game's author explained that BeaterCore is a game for those who "prefer cheap rusty buckets to specialized sports cars." Players will have to repair their cars between competitions:

Buy, fix, restore, and tune your car. Participate in competitions and advance your career. On the track, anything can go wrong – and you must be ready! Take spare parts with you in the trunk of your car, but be careful what you take with you – space is limited.

In BeaterCore, players will have access not only to career mode but also to multiplayer – you can compete with friends. The damage system applies not only to career mode; it also works in multiplayer.

The BeaterCore page on Steam is available at the following link. The first reviews of the project are "very positive," with a rating above 80% after the first hundred reviews. Players note a wide list of racing tracks and different seasons.
