Developers are currently testing the project under the codename Project Espresso.

A page for the closed playtest of the extraction shooter Project Espresso has appeared on the Player.gg platform. According to available information, this codename hides the shooter Fairgame$, developed by Haven Studios, a subsidiary of Sony Interactive Entertainment.

SIE has not yet disclosed details about the current status of Fairgame$. However, recently discovered trademarks and social media registrations hinted at a possible rebranding of the game to Break In, but there is no official confirmation of this yet.

A match in Project Espresso is divided into several key stages. First, the team needs to find the vault code, gain access to the safe, collect money, and improve the character's skills, forming their own playstyle.

Then begins the stage of directly hacking the vault. Teams must manage to retrieve the cargo inside, while also being wary of opponents who may set an ambush and try to intercept the loot.

Finally, the cargo must be delivered to the extraction point. Players call for transport using a special device, but a failed extraction does not necessarily mean the end of the match: the team can use another exit and try to escape via an alternative route.

Commentators on X and Reddit are extremely negative about Project Espresso. People criticize the project for its lack of innovation and similarity to other extraction shooters. Some even joke that Sony broke ties with Hideo Kojima for this game.
