According to Variety, Viz Media will present a new "Naruto" animated film at New York Comic Con on October 10. The panel will show the first footage from the project and reveal additional details, including the estimated release date.
However, the presentation will not be limited to just the film. Viz Media previously launched a countdown on the official "Naruto" website and promised to unveil a roadmap for the franchise's future. Specifically, Variety reports that the event will feature the first trailer for the Naruto Card Game.
Fans are also awaiting news on the fate of already announced projects. "Boruto" has been on hiatus since March 2023, and four special episodes of the original "Naruto," which Studio Pierrot postponed for quality improvement, still have not received a new release date. It is currently unknown whether these projects will receive any updates at the presentation.
