The developers of the dark horror game End of Abyss from Section Nine Interactive have released a new video about the game's creation. The video features fresh gameplay footage, and team members discuss their sources of inspiration, development challenges, and their desire to make the project as oppressive and atmospheric as possible.
Judging by the presented footage, players will constantly be on edge. The world of End of Abyss clearly isn't going to spare even those who are hard to scare, and the developers have prepared many unpleasant surprises for horror fans with strong nerves. This is not surprising, given the team's composition: the game is being worked on by veterans of Tarsier Studios, who participated in the creation of Little Nightmares and Little Nightmares II.
The story centers on Sel, an explorer of underground territories, who is tasked with investigating strange sounds coming from the depths. However, the search for answers quickly turns into a much more dangerous journey: Sel must descend deeper and deeper into the unknown, uncovering the secrets of this dark world.
End of Abyss will be released on October 1st for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S.
