Paramount+ has unveiled a full trailer for the animated series "Avatar: Seven Sanctuaries" and revealed a new release schedule for the first season – the first book. Originally, all 13 episodes were planned for simultaneous release on October 29, but now the premiere will take place almost three weeks earlier, and the showing will be stretched over four weeks. The first three episodes will be released on October 9, after which three more episodes will be released each week, and the final four episodes will be available on October 30.
The action of "Avatar: Seven Sanctuaries" will unfold after the events of "The Legend of Korra." The world has experienced a devastating cataclysm, after which only seven sanctuaries remained of civilization. The survivors blame the new Avatar for the disaster and consider him a threat to humanity.
The next Avatar after Korra turns out to be the earthbender Pavi from the city of Allura. Upon learning of her destiny, the girl is forced to hide and, together with her twin sister Nisha, search for answers about her own past. At the same time, they will have to try to save the last seven strongholds of civilization from complete destruction.
Paramount+ has already ordered a second book of similar volume, which will also consist of 13 episodes. Its release date has not yet been announced.
