The Guild Returns: Developers Reveal Plans for New Game

The Guild Remake: Europa 1410 will receive extensive development in early access, including new professions, a revamped combat system, and 12-player multiplayer.

On September 17, 2026, the first new game in The Guild series in a long time will be released on Steam – the project will launch in early access. At release, six cities will be available, including Graz, Kuttenberg, Nuremberg, Freiburg, and Wroclaw, as well as eight professions – blacksmith, tailor, carpenter, stonemason, priest, innkeeper, alchemist, and perfumer. Initially, English and German languages will be available, with others, including Russian, added later.

Players will be able to develop workshops, hire workers, and build a medieval business empire. Family will also be an important part of the game: relationships, marriages, and children will allow one campaign to span several generations.

The roadmap includes three major updates. The first will add thieves, robbers, and guards, patrols, attacks, and ambushes, as well as a revamped combat and dueling system. Later, 12-player multiplayer will be introduced.

Early access will last until summer 2027, when the developers plan to release version 1.0.
