Blizzard started giving away gifts in Heroes of the Storm before the release of a new hero

During BlizzCon 2026, the developers announced that they would soon add a new character from the World of Warcraft universe to Heroes of the Storm. There are a few weeks left until the update's release, and Blizzard Entertainment is currently running a promotion with gift giveaways.

Heroes of the Storm fans are invited to receive a set of in-game rewards in honor of BlizzCon 2026. The free holiday bundle includes the following gifts:

The "Nexus Dire Wolf Pack for Heroes of the Storm" gift giveaway promotion will last until September 27 of this year. The pack's store page is available at the following link.

Heroes of the Storm developers have opened pre-orders for the Xal'atath bundle — the set includes the hero herself, as well as several cosmetic items. Early buyers are promised an additional bonus.

Currently, some Heroes of the Storm fans are trying to show activity (financial and in-game) to convince Blizzard Entertainment to continue releasing new characters and other additional content for the MOBA game.
