The Blood of Dawnwalker turned into a cooperative game and showed split-screen gameplay

Players will be able to complete quests together.

The Blood of Dawnwalker was recently released on consoles and PC. This is a new single-player game from the game director of The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, but some wanted to play the vampire action RPG in cooperative mode.

Such an opportunity has appeared — thanks to a modder. MrSecondPlayer talked about creating a cooperative modification. Currently, alpha version 0.1.0 is available online — the work is not finished and much remains to be done.

This is not online, but local co-op with horizontal split-screen. The keyboard and mouse for control are assigned to Player #1, and the first connected gamepad is used to control Player #2's character.

The Blood of Dawnwalker is still a single-player game and was not designed for co-op, so various technical problems may arise: some cutscenes and areas do not support split-screen mode. The combat system and reactions to the second player's actions are underdeveloped.

The "Dawnwalker Together - 2 Player Split-Screen Co-op" modification by MrSecondPlayer is distributed for free via Nexus Mods. The developer recommends that players of The Blood of Dawnwalker make a copy of their save file before testing co-op.

AshenOne_VI has published a gameplay example — it can be viewed at the following link.
