Muufisto appeared in Diablo IV - an event with the horned boss was presented
The developers have opened a hunting season for the horned boss.
In September, Blizzard Entertainment launched a new in-game event in Diablo IV. Players will be able to encounter Muufisto – this gigantic bovine boss, sowing chaos and destruction:
The reasons for this boss's sudden appearance remain moo-ysterious. Rumors circulate about followers of the bovine cult who summoned Muufisto to transform Sanctuary into his infernal pasture.
As part of the "Horned Deity" community challenge, players are invited to literally take the bull by the horns: they need to defeat Muufisto 300,000 times. The developers announced that "as a reward, the season of infernal legacy will bestow upon all players the 'Muutyred' mount trophy."
Recordings of battles with Muufisto are already being published online, for example, by the well-known Diablo IV community blogger Rob2628:
The event will run until September 14: the Diablo IV team showed the trophy that players can receive.
The event rules are simple – every player who participates in killing Muufisto will add one point to the overall score:
Slay the hoofed tyrant again and again to earn more points. Once Muufisto's death counter reaches 300,000 points, this bull will finally be penned.
The developers are currently preparing for the new season, which has been named Hell's Legacy.
