Tom Holland topped the ranking of the highest-grossing actors by cumulative worldwide box office receipts for films in which he played leading or main ensemble roles. Films featuring him earned over $15.5 billion, allowing the actor to surpass Zoe Saldaña and Scarlett Johansson.
Holland's record was driven by an extremely successful summer season, during which two blockbusters starring him were released: "Spider-Man: A New Day" and Christopher Nolan's "Odyssey," which grossed $2.45 billion and $1.68 billion respectively.
Holland currently leads Zoe Saldaña, who is in second place, by approximately $30 million. Moreover, the gap continues to widen: "Spider-Man: A New Day" and "Odyssey" are still playing in cinemas and adding to the cumulative box office of films starring the actor.
