The creators decided to further work on the quality of the concluding episodes.
The production committee of the anime "Bleach: Thousand-Year Blood War – The Calamity" has postponed the premiere of the concluding episodes by a month, from the second half of September to the second half of October. Now, the penultimate, 49th episode will be released on October 19, and the final, 50th episode will be shown on October 26.
The creators explained the schedule change by their desire to improve the quality of the series before its culmination. The team apologized to viewers for the wait and promised to continue working to present the remaining episodes "in the best possible way."

"The Calamity" will complete the adaptation of Tite Kubo's final manga arc. Pierrot Films is handling the production, Tomohisa Taguchi is the chief director, and Hikaru Murata is overseeing the direction of the final part.
