DDR5 RAM prices continue to rise sharply and reached a new record in September. According to data from the German publication 3D Center, the average cost of DDR5 kits is now 544% of the July 2025 level.
3D Center's data is based on prices collected via Geizhals – a German platform that tracks the cost of memory kits from various online stores. Therefore, the statistics allow for a fairly accurate assessment of the DDR5 market dynamics in Germany.
Just a month ago, the average DDR5 price index was 486%, but in one month, it jumped to 544%. This is the largest surge in the last six to seven months.
The price increase of some popular kits particularly affected the overall statistics. For example, a 2×16 GB DDR5-6400 CL30 kit became 103% more expensive in just one month. The cost of a 2×32 GB DDR5-6400 kit increased by another 33%, and some 24 GB and 32 GB modules rose by a maximum of 18%. 16 GB kits also showed a noticeable, albeit single-digit, increase.
