Mobile version of the strategy game with roguelike elements 9 Kings gets an exact release date

News 0

Publisher Playdigious announced the exact release date for the mobile version of 9 Kings by Sad Socket studio. The strategy game will be available on Android and iOS on October 12, 2026. Pre-registration is already open on Google Play, and pre-orders can be placed on the App Store.

9 Kings combines kingdom building, deck building, roguelike elements, and auto-battles. The player chooses one of nine rulers with their own unique characteristics: some allow accumulating gold and assembling huge mercenary armies, while others rely on the forces of nature, time manipulation, dark magic, or summoning demons.

The kingdom develops with the help of cards: buildings and defensive towers can be placed on the field, troops can be hired, and spell effects can be combined. After defeating other kings, the player takes their unique cards and adds them to their deck, gradually assembling increasingly powerful combinations.

For smartphones, the developers have redesigned the interface and added touch controls. The Android version will receive Google Play Games achievements and cloud saves, as well as progress synchronization with the PC version launched through the same service – transferring saves from Steam is not announced.

9 Kings will be available to try for free before purchase. Access to all kings, quests, multiplayer, and other features will unlock after purchasing the full version for $8.99.
