"Shangri-La Frontier" Returns: Third Season Gets Premiere Date and New Poster

The continuation will focus on the fighting game tournament Galaxia Heroes: Chaos.

The third season of the anime "Shangri-La Frontier: Crappy Game Hunter Challenges God-Tier Game" will begin airing on January 10, 2027. Along with the premiere date, the creators unveiled a new poster and confirmed that the season will consist of two consecutive cours.

The new episodes will continue the GGC arc, dedicated to the global gaming tournament. Sunraku and his comrades will participate in the fighting game competition Galaxia Heroes: Chaos. The previously released teaser showed several battles and new characters, including a mage nicknamed Clockfire.

Production is once again handled by Studio C2C. Hiro Oki serves as the director for the third season, while Toshiyuki Kuboooka, director of the first two seasons, has taken on the role of chief director. Kazuyuki Fudeyasu continues to be responsible for the series composition, and Ayumi Kurashima for character design and animation direction.
