GPT-6 sent to play Minecraft - AI lost everything due to a creeper and went to dig potatoes
Now green objects clearly bother the AI agent a lot.
Modern AI technologies are developing, and some enthusiasts and researchers are testing their capabilities in video games. Recently, the Vals AI team shared the results of an experiment: artificial intelligence tried to complete Minecraft.
The GPT-6 Astra model performed best in the tests, progressing further than any other in Minecraft. However, this cannot be called an absolute victory, as the AI encountered a well-known green mob that essentially reset its progress.
At a certain point, GPT-6 Astra settled down and put valuable items in a chest. Soon, a creeper appeared, which exploded and destroyed the valuable resources.

It seems, researchers explain, that this incident "demoralized" the AI model. For the next few hours, GPT-6 Astra was practically inactive; the AI only engaged in gathering potatoes.
According to Vals AI, it looks as if the AI started to fear creepers. For example, upon seeing a green object, the AI specifically clarified that "ahead is a tall GREEN thing — it's SUGARCANE, NOT A CREEPER."
In addition, the model became "strict with itself." For example, the AI might scold itself with phrases like "DO NOT waste time chasing pink pixels" (referring to pigs).
Items that GPT-6 Astra had, as well as the progress chart over 141 hours:

GPT-6 Astra never managed to reach the Ender Dragon.
