Mintrocket studio has released the mobile version of Dave the Diver on Android and iOS worldwide, including Russia. The project combines underwater exploration with sushi bar management. During the day, the player catches fish, collects resources, and explores the depths of the sea, and in the evening, creates menus and serves restaurant visitors.
For smartphones, the developers have redesigned the interface and adapted the controls for touch screens. Some actions utilize the capabilities of the devices themselves: for example, pouring tea for visitors can be done by tilting the smartphone. They also added quick switching between characters, which allows reducing movement around the world and completing tasks faster.
On the App Store, the initial part of the game can be played for free, after which the full version will cost 699 rubles. The story add-on "In the Jungle" is sold separately for 449 rubles. On Google Play, there is no free trial version: the full game costs 899 rubles or 719 rubles with a 20% launch discount.
The original Dave the Diver was released on PC in 2023. On Steam, users left over 140 thousand reviews, 96% of which are positive.
