According to Alinea Analytics analyst Rhys Elliott, Wardogs sales have exceeded 2.2 million copies, and its launch pace has been higher than that of successful projects like Arc Raiders and Helldivers 2.
Comparing the same periods after release, Wardogs sold approximately 2.2 million copies versus 1.7 million for Arc Raiders and 1 million for Helldivers 2. All three games were released with the same starting price of $40, which makes comparing their commercial performance more indicative.
Elliott also calculated that Wardogs has already brought developers about $70 million in revenue and ranked seventh among the most profitable new Steam games in 2026. However, the game is currently only available on PC. PlayStation and Xbox versions are planned, but their release will not happen until 2028. For comparison, Marathon by Bungie was released on several platforms simultaneously, but Wardogs has already surpassed it in total revenue.
