New content will soon be added to the online shooter Escape from Tarkov: Arena. The head of Battlestate Games studio published a new teaser on social media, and also published another teaser.

This time, Nikita Buyanov showed the logo of Season 3:

The developers clarified that the 0.6.0 update for EFT: Arena is planned to start installing on September 18, at 09:00 Moscow time. They noted that the update installation will take approximately 6 hours, but "may be extended if necessary." The game will be unavailable during this time.

With update 0.6.0, Escape from Tarkov: Arena will introduce a modified BlastGang mode — it will feature "buying" between rounds in the spirit of Counter-Strike 2. The developers explained how the economy will work in this mode:

• All players will start the match with the same starting equipment.
• At the beginning of each round, players will buy weapons, armor, and helmets with earned money.
• In-game currency will be awarded for eliminating opponents, installing the Device, and the round result.
• The reward for eliminating an opponent will depend on the chosen weapon.
