Have Polish developers returned to Russian Steam? Lords of the Fallen, Sniper Ghost Warrior, and more are available again

After several years, the games have been spotted for sale once more.

Polish CI Games (formerly known as City Interactive) stopped selling its games in Russia several years ago. However, in September 2026, players noticed that the studio's projects were once again available in the Russian Federation.

CI Games is known for various sniper games, such as the Sniper Ghost Warrior and SGW Contracts series, and has also released several soulslike games like Lords of the Fallen, and various shooters — Sniper Art of Victory, Project Freedom, Alien Rage Unlimited, Enemy Front. Additionally, the studio released Röki, Eldest Souls, Combat Wings: Battle of Britain, and Dogfight 1942.

It is not yet clear whether this is a technical error or if CI Games has decided to reconsider its game distribution policy. Notably, Lords of the Fallen, released in 2023, recently received an official Russian translation.
