The developers of the Warhammer 40,000: Kill Team tabletop game also pleased viewers at The Big Summer Warhammer Preview Show 2026. They announced a new set dedicated to the ongoing carnage on Armageddon.
Thanks to this set, players will be able to witness the battle between the fighters of the "Legion of the Damned" and a band of Orks. Each legionary is covered in skeletal elements and enveloped in ethereal flame. Their true nature eludes even the most persistent Inquisitors.

The ghostly nature of the "Legion of the Damned" makes the gameplay of this team completely different from playing as other Space Marines, as over time they must strengthen their connection to the material world to reach the peak of their power.
At the beginning of the game, they move and fight slower than regular Space Marines, but as turns pass and their form stabilizes, they transform into terrifying spectral monsters, literally torn apart from within by otherworldly fire. Opposing them is a team of fierce Nob bosses.
These hardened greenskin veterans have survived wars on dozens of planets and tower over their smaller kin. They are clad in thick armor and armed with a wide array of diverse Ork weaponry. Some are obsessed with "dakka" and use two custom "shmalyalas," while others revel in fiery destruction and drag a massive "padzhiga" into the combat zone.
The battlefield for this confrontation will be a brand new terrain set with wrecked vehicles and dilapidated buildings, recreating the scene of devastation that has befallen Armageddon.
The Killzone: Armageddon terrain is designed to stylistically match existing Battlezone Fronteris sets but has a more battle-worn appearance. Players will receive two sturdy bunkers, for which their own rules for desperate close-quarters combat are provided. The set also includes ruins and smaller terrain elements, including a downed "Redemptor" Dreadnought and a "Rogal Dorn" battle tank.
In addition, players will acquire the usual datacard sets and the "Armageddon – Dossier" book, containing all the necessary rules for both teams, background and lore for the "Legion of the Damned," Nobz, and the desperate times that brought these irreconcilable enemies together.
