The manga "The Failure at God School" by Natsu Hyuga, author of "The Apothecary Diaries," will receive a television anime adaptation. Along with the announcement, the creators unveiled the project's first poster.
The story is set in modern Japan, where people with supernatural abilities can obtain a license and become gods at shrines. Nagi considers herself an ordinary schoolgirl, unlike her twin brother Takeru, who can read minds and move objects with his mind. To avoid hearing her brother's constant stream of thoughts, the girl devised a special technique, but one day it helps her repel a real supernatural attack. After this, Nagi is sent to a special school where future gods are trained.
Natsu Hyuga admitted that she is now looking forward to seeing the story's characters in the anime:
"We will be able to see and hear Nagi, Takeru, Tsukuyomi, and Tota. Now all I have to do is keep writing the story and pray to the gods."
Manga artist Modomu Akagawara also thanked the readers and the adaptation team:
"As the artist responsible for the manga, I couldn't be happier. I myself can't wait for the characters of the god school to come to life and speak."
Who will be producing the anime and when the premiere will take place has not yet been revealed.
