Capcom revealed technical details of Monster Hunter Wilds for Switch 2

Monster Hunter Wilds on Switch 2 will run at resolutions up to 2240×1260 pixels and 30 FPS, with ray tracing not available in any mode.

Capcom has revealed the technical specifications for the Switch 2 version of Monster Hunter Wilds, scheduled for release on December 4. In docked mode, players will be offered two display options.

The first focuses on graphical quality and uses a resolution of 2240×1260 at 30 FPS. The second prioritizes performance – 1920×1080 at 30 FPS, with the frame rate in this mode being significantly more stable.

In handheld mode, one option will be available with a resolution of 1536×864 pixels and 30 FPS.

Ray tracing is not supported in any mode. The Switch 2 version will be released ahead of the Ascendance expansion, which is scheduled for release in 2027.
