Blizzard has begun revoking players' access to the World of Warcraft: Forever beta test due to inappropriate character names.
One player reported on the Blizzard forum that they lost access to the testing and did not receive an explanation for the reason. A support representative under the nickname Vrakthris clarified that the player should have received an email indicating the character whose name caused the sanction. He also reminded that names in WoW: Forever must comply with the rules even during the beta test phase.
If a player believes that access to WoW: Forever was mistakenly disabled, Blizzard recommends filing an appeal.
The World of Warcraft: Forever beta will last until October 21. The full release is scheduled for November 4, 2026.
