The third season of "Daredevil: Born Again" may adapt one of the most famous stories about Elektra and Bullseye. According to insider Alex Perez, the meeting between the characters will be particularly tense, and its possible outcome is well-known to comic book readers.
"There will be a lot of tension between her and Matt, especially during their reunion. But one scene with Bullseye will have viewers on the edge of their seats. Everyone who has read the comics understands what I'm hinting at."
The insider is likely referring to Frank Miller's Daredevil #181, released in 1982. In this issue, Bullseye defeats Elektra in a fight and fatally wounds her with one of her own sai. The character was later resurrected, so even a repeat of the famous scene would not necessarily mean a final farewell to the character. However, if Hollywood media reports that the third season of "Daredevil: Born Again" will be the last are to be believed, such an outcome cannot be ruled out either.
Earlier, photos from the set appeared online, confirming Elodie Yung's return as Elektra. The character last appeared in "The Defenders," where she presumably died under the rubble of Midland Circle along with the leaders of the Hand. How she will be brought back into the storyline is currently unknown.
The third season will premiere on Disney+ in March 2027.
