The remake of Resident Evil Veronica, based on the 2000 release Resident Evil Code: Veronica, may be released significantly later than previously expected. According to well-known insider Dusk Golem, the project has a high probability of being postponed until autumn 2027. However, this is currently only an internal postponement — the game never had an official release date.

Dusk Golem claims to have heard information about the possible postponement from three different sources. The insider himself has not yet received confirmation directly from Capcom, so he urges caution regarding the information, although he considers it quite convincing.

According to Dusk Golem, the possible postponement may be related to late changes in the game.
