DrinkBox Studios announced the postponement of Blighted's release. The Metroidvania was supposed to be released in autumn 2026, but the developers needed additional time to refine the project. Now the release is scheduled for 2027.
The team is working hard on the game and continues to grow, but we feel we still need a little more time to get the project ready for release.
Along with the announcement of the postponement, the studio showed new materials dedicated to level design. In particular, the developers demonstrated the Watcher's Peak hub and other Blighted locations.
DrinkBox Studios will share more detailed information about the project in 2027.
