DLC with a new campaign, units, and technologies released for RTS Terminator: Dark Fate - Defiance
The confrontation with the local SkyNet analogue will continue in research centers and beyond.
In September, the developers of the real-time strategy game Terminator: Dark Fate – Defiance announced the release of the premium Evolution expansion. The Slitherine team talked about the content and presented a trailer for the DLC.
Players are offered a new single-player campaign consisting of eight missions. They will command the resistance and fight among the mines and research centers of Legion (the local SkyNet) in the frozen wastelands of Canada:
Each mission presents new tactical challenges: sabotage operations, defense, and full-scale attacks. You are fighting not only for survival, but also for the right to choose what humanity will be.
The developers reported that they have prepared new units for the game, for example, Legion mini-rovers have appeared — fast reconnaissance drones, as well as the Canadian Leopard C2 MEXAS tank. In addition, augmented soldiers were introduced — these are human fighters who have been enhanced with early prototypes of augmentation technologies, and they are effective in close combat.
