The release of Grand Theft Auto VI is approaching, and the marketing campaign is gradually ramping up. Rockstar Games' new title has a real advertisement in Miami, but there are a couple of nuances.
Firstly, it cannot be seen from the ground, as it is located on a building's rooftop. Secondly, the GTA VI advertisement does not mention the "Grand Theft Auto" franchise itself — instead, it uses the phrase "Welcome to Vice City".
Similar advertising is planned for Miami beaches (also without direct mention of GTA) — "Vice City" or "VI" logos may adorn umbrellas and other objects.
Rockstar Games recently unveiled a premium set called "The Goodtime State – Vice City Collection". It will cost $400 — the set does not include the game, but will feature various collectible items.
Buyers of the set will receive a 15-centimeter Macca the Alligator figurine with a secret compartment, black matte GTAVI Oakley Frogskins sunglasses with Prizm Sapphire lenses, as well as:
- New Era 9FORTY A-Frame snapback cap with "Vice City, Leonida" embellishments
- Macca the Alligator magnetic mirror
- Vice City bar spoon
- Vice City blade-shaped keychain
- Leonida-Kiss shoulder bag
- Puffy Manatee shot glass
- Leonida-Kiss enamel pin set in a unique metal box
- Premium stickers in a pouch
- Souvenir double-sided poster showcasing the entire state of Leonida
Grand Theft Auto VI is scheduled for release on November 19, 2026, currently only on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S consoles. There is no information yet regarding a PC version.
