Saber showed a new mode and announced a class for Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 - presented a roadmap of updates for 2026-2027

The developers have big plans: there will be DLC and free content.

Saber Interactive studio and Focus Entertainment publisher have released a new dev diary dedicated to plans for Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine 2 updates. Players can expect free new features, as well as premium content.

An update roadmap has been presented, covering the period up to the third quarter of 2027. On October 1st, Chaos Siege Mode will be released and the personal debuff system Crucible will appear, and by the end of the current year, they plan to launch the PvP mode 'Weekly Stratagems'.

In 2027, they plan to add a new Apothecary class to the game, expand players' arsenal, and prepare new heroic armor elements. Next year, a rework of the perk system is also expected.

Previously, a trailer for Chaos Siege Mode was shown. The developers confirmed that there are two sectors, and work is underway on a third.

In addition, players will be able to test their skills with the Crucible system: it will be possible to set personal debuffs that will complicate mission completion. As a reward, experience will be awarded and a special armor set (Lamenters armour set) can be unlocked.
